I’m grateful for the opportunities, people, and experiences that have shaped my year.
January — April
I completed my internship with the ML Observability team at Datadog and wrapped up my semester.
Coming back to New York felt like completing a circle that began with MLH Hackcon in 2022. The city’s magic was just as potent — holiday lights, streets alive with diverse cultures, and urban energy. My favorite moments were simple yet profound: hearing “Empire State of Mind” drift through the evening air during my walks home, and gradually recognizing the familiar faces of strangers, each with their distinct style and presence on my daily route.
I visited Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge, explored coffee shops, thrifted, watched some basketball games and attended hackathons. I participated in the Cozy Computing Hackathon and Hack It Together at LCW. I also co-organized GitHub Field Day with Campus Experts!
May — August
I interned on the Microsoft Power BI team in Redmond, WA. Beyond the engaging work, I hiked and explored the city. The intern communities I joined became spaces for meaningful connections and growth. I love how there is nature everywhere and I also got to meet many amazing people during the internship! I also went back to New York for MLH Hackcon 2024
September — December
I attended conferences — the Nvidia AI Summit in DC and Research @Google NYC — while celebrating my early convocation. Late November brought me to HackWestern in London, Ontario, where I hosted the Google Cloud Workshop and catched up with friends. These months, I spent time with family and friends.
Looking back, I’m deeply thankful for every person who’s been part of this journey.
To anyone reading, I hope you take care and wishing you a happy holidays!
